News Update to Members – May 2012
Golf
Congratulations to all who have qualified for the various match play competitions. Please note that all games must be played by the dates on draw lists. No extensions will be granted by the Tournament Committee.
Re 13th Hole. In an effort to speed up play the 13th hole will be a “call on hole” for the month of May. When members reach their drives on the 13th they should stand aside with care and call on the next group before playing their shots to the green.
While playing the 13th Hole, crossing in front of 12th green is prohibited. Members who need to cross the 12th to access next fairway MUST walk back along the pathway in front of 13th tee and cross under the plateau between the ponds. This is a Health and Safety issue which will have implications in the event of an accident.
Teams
Well done to our various teams on their successes in Junior, Ladies, and Men’s Competitions. Follow their progress on the website RESULTS section or better again by going to support them in their matches.
Appeal from Course Committee
We are appealing to all members to take pride in their course by helping to keep the course litter free. Please discard your personal litter in the bins provided on the course. If you see litter on the course please pick up at least one piece for discard in the nearest bin.
