On Sunday 17th August, Clontarf Bowling Club hosted the annual home and away bowling match between Clontarf and Cavehill Bowling Club Belfast.

This event has taken place since 1947 and it is always a closely fought contest with Cavehill slightly ahead on the leaderboard. However, Clontarf won today by 6 points and Captain Aidan was delighted to receive the cup on behalf of all the players.

The President of Cavehill Bowling Club also presented Bowling Captain Aidan with a beautiful plaque commemorating the centenary year of Clontarf Bowling Club.
