The Bowling Club “Unfurling” 

The Bowling Club “Unfurling” took place today  (Saturday 22rd March 2025)  on the Bowling Green. Captain Aidan Foy raised the flag marking the official opening of the Summer bowling season.  The “Unfurling” has special significance this year as we celebrate the Centenary of the founding of the Bowling Club in 1925.   There was a great turnout for the event from bowlers and golf club friends.  Honoured guests included the Club President and Vice-President and the Men’s and Ladies’ Captains and Vice-Captains representing the Golf Club.  After the “Unfurling” Captain Aidan was joined by guests for the traditional ‘roll-up’ on the bowling green followed by a members’ ‘get together’ in the restaurant.  Everyone enjoyed the day. 

Congratulations to Captain Aidan for a great start to the Bowling Club Centenary Year.
