The Club President Anna Marie Dufficy accepts a cheque on behalf of the Friday Friends from the Club Professional Eoin O’Brien. The funds were raised from the recent Palestrina Boys Choir performance in the Club kindly sponsored by Naula Bisset and sponsorship of Eoin’s run in the 2025 Dublin City Marathon.
The Vice-President, Ray Maguire, announced his nominee for Club Vice-President for 2026/2027 as Mary Coffey.
The announcement was very well received by all those present.
Mary has been a member since 1987. Both of Mary’s parents have been members and Mary’s mother Phelomena is still actively involved in the Club. Mary played on the team which won a Leinster pennant in 2000 as District Champions in the All Ireland Ladies Ulster Bank Fourball and played several times on the O’Grady Cup team. Mary was Captain of the Ladies’ Club in 2007, was a member of the Centenary Committee, has served on several Sub-Committees, is currently a member of the Governance Sub-Committee and has served the Club as a Trustee.
