On Thursday 18th September the Inaugural Battle of Clontarf between St Anne’s Golf Club and Clontarf Golf Club took place.

Battling the wind, fast greens and St Anne’s home advantage our ladies unfortunately missed out on winning the cup kindly sponsored by Harry Byrne’s.

A lovely meal followed in St Anne’s and then we all retired to Harry Byrne’s where Alan filled the cup with cocktails for all to share.

Many thanks to St Anne’s for hosting and we look forward to the return match in Clontarf next year.
